My name is Aubrey, and I am from Columbus, Georgia. When I am not busy with school, I enjoy reading, rock climbing, cooking, and traveling. These hobbies allow me to stay balanced and explore both creative and active sides of myself. I come from a family that has had a strong influence on who I am today: my mom is a nurse, and my dad is a retired Army Ranger. From them, I have developed a strong work ethic, discipline, and a drive to push myself toward my goals. Their dedication and resilience have shaped my mindset and continue to motivate me in both my academic and personal life.

I chose to pursue Biosystems Engineering because of my interest in sustainability and my desire to contribute to renewable energy solutions. I have always enjoyed problem-solving, especially when it involves real-world challenges that impact the environment. This field allows me to combine my technical interests with my passion for sustainability, allowing me to work on solutions that can make a meaningful difference. Whether it is through energy systems, environmental conservation, or innovative technologies, I am motivated by the idea of contributing to a more sustainable future.

Looking ahead, my goal is to attend graduate school to further specialize in energy engineering or possibly chemical engineering. I want to build a strong technical foundation that will allow me to contribute to advanced research in renewable energy. Ultimately, I hope to work in research and development for a renewable energy company or with the U.S. Department of Energy, where I can be part of developing and improving sustainable energy solutions. Through my career, I aim to make a lasting impact by helping address environmental challenges and advancing the transition to cleaner energy.
